For the city of Burghausen, the key to successful integration lies in the language. For this reason, the city offers free German courses for citizens of Burghausen who want to learn German in the Haus der Familie. The courses are suitable for German beginners and teach the basics of the German language.
It is not necessary to register for the German courses. The German courses do not take place during the school holidays.

Beginner course (level A1): Monday, 17:00 p.m. - 18:30 p.m. & Wednesday 16:30 p.m. - 17:30 p.m
Course for advanced learners (from level B1): Monday, 18:45 p.m. - 20:15 p.m
Those who do not know Latin letters or have never learned to read and write can attend the literacy meeting in the family home. Amal Moussa offers the opportunity to learn to read and write together. Since the knowledge of the participants sometimes differs greatly, volunteers are always welcome to provide support.

Registration is not required.
Arabic speakers can attend the alpha and beginner German course at the family home. Hadeel Saada improves initial knowledge of German and teaches the participants the Latin alphabet and the German language.
Beginners' literacy course with Hadeel Saada: Sunday, 12:00-14:00
If you already have a better command of German, you can attend the advanced German course for Arabic speakers. It takes place every Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
