General Information
Burghausen Town Planning develops the townscape of Burghausen and oversees supra-regional processes and planning.
In addition, urban planning, as the lower monument protection authority, implements the Monument Protection Act and exchanges information with the State Office for Monument Preservation.
The city planning staff also examine incoming building applications with regard to the cityscape and urban planning aspects. In addition, they exercise the municipal preemption rights in accordance with the building code.
Citizens who want to build new buildings or renovate or modernize properties in Burghausen make an appointment with the Burghausen town planning department. Bring any existing older construction documents or plan sketches for the planned construction project with you to the appointment.
