The city of Burghausen's first energy summit took place on March 26, 2024 in the Burghauser Stadtsaal.

The energy summit took place on the initiative of First Mayor Florian Schneider.

The media coverage was full of praise, as were the 500 interested people who were there live in the city hall.

The following top-class speakers and panel guests were won:

– Ministerial Director Prof. Dr. Frank Messerer from the Bavarian Ministry of Economics
– Dr. Peter von Zumbusch, plant manager at Wacker Chemie
– Markus Lieberknecht, citizen representative for the transmission system operator TenneT
– Bernhard Langhammer, spokesman for the ChemDelta initiative
– Johannes Geigenberger, economics editor at the PNP
