The Burghausen Integration Advisory Board is a non-partisan, association-independent, non-denominational and intercultural advisory board. The organization is involved in the communal formation of opinions and will and wants to counteract prejudice, discrimination and racism with its work. The Integration Advisory Board represents the interests of all foreign and local residents of the city of Burghausen. The members of the integration advisory board are characterized by a remarkable openness, commitment and a great deal of empathy.

With a variety of activities, the committee strives to integrate foreign citizens in the public life of the city of Burghausen and to bring about an open, intercultural attitude within Burghausen.

To this end, the Integration Advisory Board takes a position on relevant issues, makes recommendations, submits applications and is available for further activities.

The members of the advisory board want to integrate foreign residents through language, education, employment and social urban development. This area of ​​responsibility also includes the promotion of social coexistence such as civic engagement and participation. The members of the committee are committed to this with a great deal of commitment, humanity and heart.

The committee does charitable work for the benefit of the entire city community and is therefore a valuable contact for every resident of Burghausen.

The integration advisory board of the city of Burghausen was founded in 2011.

Members

The Burghausen Integration Advisory Board consists of five voting members, five representatives of the city factions and three advisors each. Anyone interested has the right to volunteer for the work of the integration advisory board. You also have the option of volunteering without applying.

The integration advisory board is renewed every six years.
