The Burghauser Motorikpark on the southern outskirts of Burghausen regularly attracts many sports fans. In the motor skills park there are 7.000 stations with 21 individual devices on a total area of around 70 m², where visitors can train.
When developing the facility, sports scientists made sure that sports fans who visit the motor skills park train the five core areas of motor skills:
- kraft
- Speed
- Mobility
- coordination
- Endurance
From toddlers to seniors - the motor skills park is suitable for all ages. Signs explain how the athletes should perform the exercises on the equipment.
The use of the devices is only recommended from a height of 140cm. Smaller people are advised to only use the devices under supervision.
After sport, the green oasis at the forest park with its quiet atmosphere invites its visitors to linger. A playground and a football field, which are adjacent to the Motorikpark, offer the youngsters a lot of variety.
In 2023, the city of Burghausen also built a bike park, a skate park and sanitary facilities in the area of the forest park.
Admission to the Motorikpark is free. There are enough parking spaces on Berghamer Straße.
