Youth

The city of Burghausen is committed to young people in a variety of ways. The child and youth work in Burghausen is based on a total of five pillars. It is composed of

• the youth office
• the youth center 2.0 (JUZ 2.0)
• youth social work at the Franz Xaver Gruber middle school
• school social work at the Maria Ward Realschule
• the leisure center (FZH)

The team for children and youth work in the city attaches great importance to personal matters, confidentiality and non-binding nature. The six employees are the contact persons for the children and young people. The teenagers can contact the Burghausen child and youth work team with a wide variety of problems and difficulties in their living situation. It doesn't matter whether it's about filling out forms, writing applications or getting tips for family difficulties.

The institutions are contact points. At the same time, they are also places where children and young people can live out their creativity and ideas. You have the opportunity to improve or expand the existing offers of child and youth work.
