In the more than 60 years of its existence, the series of master concerts has developed into an essential and indispensable part of Burghausen's cultural life. The aim of this series of events has always been to bring classical music to life in all its richness.
The Burghauser Master Concerts want to be a meeting place. They want to surprise and arouse curiosity. For this, the organizers bring a second grand piano into the magnificent baroque auditorium of the Kurfürst-Maximilian-Gymnasium or set up a glass harp.
The string quartets also shine in the series of master concerts – a format that is ideally suited to presenting composed music in all its chamber music richness.
After all, the language of music does not have to be learned, it just needs our attention!
