General Information
During the carnival season, the city organizes a carnival for the elderly. During the Maiwiesn, the city traditionally invites its senior citizens to a senior afternoon. The Plättenfahrt for seniors takes place in August. The city of Burghausen has also been inviting people to this event for many years.
In the months of May and September, the city organizes a “trip into the blue”. In October, the Burghausen seniors meet for a leisurely afternoon. The senior citizen program of the city of Burghausen ends in December with an Advent celebration.
There are also quarterly senior birthday parties in the Burghauser community center.
