The city of Burghausen would be unimaginable without the Asylum Aid Group. The numerous voluntary helpers who are involved in the asylum helpers' circle not only demonstrate organizational talent, but also great commitment and creativity in helping people who have fled.

Even during the refugee crisis in 2015, the asylum helpers' group in Burghausen made an impressive commitment to the refugees. In the Ukraine war, the Asylum Helpers Group also once again demonstrated enormous foresight and energy.

For example, the Asylum Helpers Group initiated mother-child German courses, leisure and educational offers for children, and learning support for schoolchildren. Every first Sunday of the month, the international tea café offers the opportunity to chat and get to know one another in a pleasant setting.

The Burghauser circle of helpers is supported organizationally by Nadja Dorn, BRK integration guide and coordination of the volunteer work, as well as the Haus der Familie.

Anyone who would like to get involved as a helper in the asylum helpers' group should send an e-mail to the family home at the address hausderfamilie@burghausen.de.
