Burghausen has 26 playgrounds in its urban area, plus numerous soccer fields and sports fields. In addition to small playgrounds with swings, slides and seesaws, the city also has large, unusual playgrounds. These include, for example, the Spielgebirge in Burghauser Neustadt or the playground at Wöhrsee with its large climbing facility in the shape of a ship.
A special attraction is the Motorikpark, which regularly attracts sports fans with its 21 stations on around 7.000 square meters.
