The Hans-Kammerer-School is one of the three elementary schools in the urban area of ​​Burghausen.

Hans Kammerer was a teacher in Burghausen in the 1920s, from 1934 he provided important cultural services for Burghausen and was involved in the resistance during the Second World War. Kammerer has been an honorary citizen of the city of Burghausen since 1952.

wind classes
Together with the music school in Burghausen, the Hans-Kammerer elementary school offers wind instrument classes in the third and fourth grades. The students of the wind classes have lessons for their wind instrument together instead of the regular music lessons.
