Raitenhaslach monastery market 2024
The spirit of Hildegard von Bingen inspires this special two-day market - a contemplative event in the idyll of the former Cistercian monastery Raitenhaslach.
In early summer, nuns and brothers from around two dozen monasteries and abbeys from four countries come to the prelate's garden of the Raitenhaslach monastery and bring home-made, tasty delicacies with them. The culinary scents are mixed with floral and herb scents from monastery nurseries, whose plants adorn the monastery garden.
The extensive supporting program extends into the evening.
